About Light's Insurance
Light’s Insurance Agency was started in the late 1930s by Paul and Betty Light of Deep River. Betty ran the Agency on her own while Paul was serving in WWII. Richard and Linda (Light) Geiger took over the operation in 1976 after Paul’s passing. Richard and Linda ran the Agency along with Robert Van Zee until 2003 when it was sold to Robert Van Zee and Michael Geiger(son). Robert and Michael operated the Agency for 12 years as 50/50 partners. Upon Robert’s retirement in 2015 he sold his 50% ownership to Michael. Light’s Insurance Agency has had the same family ownership for 8 decades and intends to stay a family owned business for many decades to come.

Tyler started with Bear Creek in January of 2021 and is licensed to sell personal, commercial, crop, life and health insurance.

Deb has been an insurance agent for -- years and has been with Bear Creek since its inception.
